50 PTO HP, 3-plow
tractor. My first tractor, bought in 1995. It will run a
6" blue flame at night when it is plowing. It has been a
great learning experience. |

10' early 1950's
Case grain drill was purchased from the original owner who lives near
Delphi, IN. I used it to seed alfalfa and orchardgrass in the fall
of 2000 and it worked great! |

I just purchased the
401 in the fall of 1999 to replace the DC. It also has 50 PTO hp,
but is much more fuel efficient than the DC and it is much better with
its 8 speed transmission, live PTO, and live hydraulics. |

The 500 had seen many hours of work
before we bought it in 1996. Its original job was to mow CRP
acres, but that practice was soon discontinued by the USDA. Now I
use it to pull a 9' New Holland 488 haybine, a 10'-6" IH model 37
disk, and a Case 4-16" plow (pictured above, far left). It is
rated at 65 PTO hp. |

This SC was included
in the purchase of the farm. It is made during the last two years
of S series production, so it has a foot clutch, Eagle Hitch, and live
PTO and hydraulics. This was my first tractor engine to overhaul.
